| Still an immensely exciting boat to sail, 2007 sees the National Swallow Class going from strength to strength. New boats have been added to the fleet sailing from Itchenor Sailing Club in Chichester Harbour over each of the last couple of years. The Class is now geared up for further additions to be built in Cowes by Composite Craft Ltd. The moulds have been completely upgraded so that new boats being built still follow the original plans as those sailed to victory by Stuart Morris in the 1948 Olympics - but in line with modern technology (and they now have double self-bailers). | ||
