Breakfast briefing, post racing interviews and the prize giving party will take place at the Cowes Yacht Haven
Throughout the Volkswagen Touareg King of Cowes event the boats will be moored in Shepards Wharf Marina, West Cowes. Shepards Wharf is the home of the Laser SB3 Class during Skandia Cowes Week and provides an excellent base for grand prix regattas of this type.Special berthing arrangements are being made for the King of Cowes competitors, and Volkswagen Touareg King of Cowes event representatives will be on hand from mid afternoon to welcome the arriving boats.
Between 1700 and 2100 on Thursday evening the Volkswagen Touareg King of Cowes Registration Centre will be housed in a special marquee in Shepards Wharf where crews can complete their registration and crew weigh in.
In addition teams will be working on the docks to brand the boats with event decals and official scrutineers will be making class rule and safety checks on each of the boats.

The Cowes Yacht Haven is also home to the Volkswagen Touareg Skandia Cowes Week display unit where the key prizes will be on display.
